Testimonials

Anyone can get a service vest and put it on their pet.  Many have done it.  However, that does not make it right.  In order for those who need the service animals to get the help that they need, the pseudo service animals must be weeded out.

You do not have to have animal assisted services, however if you would like this option, please ask.

Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal-assisted therapy is a wonderful option to reduce stress and enhance the therapy experience!  With animal-assisted therapy, the client is welcome to bring their fur partner to therapy with them to actively participate in therapy.  This does not make the fur partner an "assistance" partner, but just a participant in therapy.  This kind of psychotherapy can help with many issues a client may be struggling with.

Service Animals

Service animals are the "hot topic" now and many people are getting them.  There are no active regulations for service animals, therefore anyone can obtain a vest, put it on their pet and call that pet a service animal.  While this is perfectly legal, it does open the person up to many liabilities and makes it harder for those who truly need service animals.  We have partnered with J10 International, a nonprofit organization, to help ensure that everyone that have a service animal is in active therapy.

J10 International only takes referrals for service animals from those who are in active therapy.  For more information, please see the J10 service dog information page on the website here!

Emotional Support Animals

Sometimes you need emotional support.  The kind only a furball can provide!  Again, just like service animals, emotional support animals are the "hot topic" now and many people are getting them. There are no active regulations for these animals either, therefore anyone can obtain a vest, put it on their pet and call that pet an emotional support/service animal. While this is perfectly legal, it does open the person up to many liabilities and makes it harder for those who truly need these animals. J10 International only takes referrals for emotional support animals from those who are in active therapy. For more information, please see our emotional support animal information page!
